Robert Burnaby Park
The City of Burnaby required a public washroom and concession building in Robert Burnaby Park – the location of one of the city's premiere baseball diamonds.
Concrete was the ideal material, exploited to produced a handsome, enduring and low-maintenance structure.
The building was embedded into an existing berm, allowing rooftop access for viewing from the top of the berm. Concrete was selected as the ideal material of construction; the properties of the material were exploited to produce a handsome, enduring and low-maintenance structure. The final design features board formed exterior walls and cast in place graphics.
