Stored Potential

This proposal looks to mediate the disparate iconographies of Nebraska - agrarian past/future city - by capitalizing on the commensurately disparate scales at which the grain silos operate: a fleeting glimpse from a distant car and the more immidiate confrontation from a bicycle.

This condition is amplified with the use of anamorphosis, allowing for multiple readings of the silo from different vantage points. In this case, the graphic representation of grain (agrarian past) and urban traffic (future city).
