Norgate Park Field House
Norgate Park in North Vancouver has for many decades been hidden from view. One street north of Marine Drive, the only view corridor located along Garden Avenue was blocked by an uninspired and ageing field house. As the replacement facility was to include both public washrooms and sports change rooms, these two components were separated to expose and frame the park from Marine Drive and outwards to the North Shore Mountains, open up this view, and expose the park.
